This was recorded with a sony icd-st voice recorder held next to the glider, then noise removed with an audio tool, then normalized. Recorded with lifecam hd3000 you can hear kids playing outside my window, the neighbors' stereo in the apartment next door, their air conditioner, their vacuum cleaner after they shut down the stereo, they're tromping around and hitting the walls, a few distant birds, and one toot of a train about to come into town. It's forbidden for them to blow the horn inside city limits.

Here is some more of that young couple next door that always go at it. This one was badly recorded. It's probably the best i could do with the editing. Passed 1:00 is when they begin. 7:29 is when they finish. Passed 3:30 is when the woman starts to make louder sounds. 5:34 to 6:03, an airplane flying got into the recording, did my best to make unnoticeable. 7:05 to 7:25 are the sounds from the guy. Original audio of this was 15:00 long. They didn't actually start having sex right away. This was edit and cut short with audacity.

A man is turning buckwheat pancakes on 9 billigs (special pan for galettes). First putting butter on billigs, then spreading and turning the liquid on the billigs, then returning the pancakes with a metalic tool. Then start again all the process two other times. First billig is next to us, billig number nine is 4 meters from us. We can ear his steps, a bird by the window, a car is also crossing the sound field. France, nov2022. This was a recording taken on a small train riding around the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. I took this towards the end of the tour, and was on the back of the train so you can hear the announcer quite clearly directing us. Sorry if there’s some talking in the background, i was siting next to my aunt’s little foster child at the time and he was enjoying himself quite a bit. Checked-in to a hotel in raleigh, north carolina with my wife to catch a flight early the next morning out of rdu. Suddenly, a storm rolled in to the area and, since we were going to bed anyway, i placed my zoomh4npro (120 degree setting) on the air conditioning unit below the window. This is a plasma pulse engine for spaceships, hover bikes/ boards, etc. The engine starts up at 00. 000 ms. Then stage one starts at 02. 400 ms. Stage two at 04. 800 ms. Stage three at 07. 200 ms. Stage four 09. 600 ms. Then the engine shuts down starting at 12. 000 ms. To change "gears" set position to the stage start then play. To "run" in each stage loop from start time +. 144 to stage end time(next stage start time) -. 083. You may have to figit the numbers. I haven't actually tested any of this. I don't really program any more. But, in theory it should work.

This is an alarm based on what we can hear here in huy, ben-ahin or anywhere near the nuclear power plant of tihange (belgium). I was experimentally, recording the garage door opener, but then this happened: next door neighbor kick-starts motorcycle, idles it, an aircraft passes by, and then the motorcyclist rides away. Recorded sound is indirect except for a brief moment when the motorcycle pulls past the open garage door in the alley outside. Set up with schoeps cmc6-uxt/ mk41+mk8 ms stereo in rycote zeppelin on tripod in small suburban single-car garage that faces an alley between lots. Ms-decoded and recorded as l+r channels on sound devices mixpre-6 @ 24/192. Some light post-processing to adjust levels as well as a little compression on the loudest moment.

At 0:44 you can hear the woman say "well let's make out, what do you think of this?"they were probably already started you know before it got to 2:00. Those silent parts have a bits of very soft pleasure noises that are hard to hear, but it's there. Passed 7:15 is where you can start to hear some clear sex noises of them, that's where all the good parts begin. Passed 10:00 is where the couple finishes their pleasure. This was shorten and edit with audacity.

Sound of balinese chimes recorded with tascam dr-60 d mkii linear recorder and pair of akg p120 electret condenser microphones on a stagg smc3 3m xlr cable. Knobs of sensitivity were turned in position of highest sensitivity. Microphones were configured as stereo pair and placed face to face in front of each other in distance of 75cm. Microphones placed on stands. Chimes was held in the hand between mics along the way of sight of them, with smallest bell on the side of right microphone. Recorded afternoon in a bedroom with closed door and windows in a house next to high street. Recorded in 96khz and 24bit. Trimmed and normalized in flstudio edison. Normalization made sample 32bit.

A beautiful, simple and peaceful soundscape of a late summer day in illinois near an ancient swamp. This recording was made around 8 in the morning on a warm and slightly humid day in late september using the marantz pmd661 and a rode ntg2 shotgun microphone. Do you sense the insects are more subdued than usual? as if they, too, are waiting for the cooler masses of early autumn?? the overall loudness of the birds is also down somewhat, maybe some of our neotropical migrants have already left. . . . Taking with them the wonderful midwest diet and warm memories of raising the next generations of their kind before the swamp turns gray, and cold and inhospitable for raising a family. . A small group of people collected hay on a meadow by means of sweeping the hay into mounds and placing it on hay racks by means of pitchforks. A couple of guys set up hay racks by knocking a sharp, short pole obliquely into the ground to be used as support. Next, they used a crowbar to make holes in the ground for the large poles which were assembled in a row. Finally, a short oblique pole was knocked into the ground on the other side of the high poles and steel wire was attached t one of the oblique poles,then attached to the long poles by one loop on each pole until it was attached to the oblique pole at the other end. Birds were singing and sheep with bells were grazing nearby.

This is traffic on hwy 134 (next to walt disney studios / warner brothers studios) recorded while standing on the hollywood way overpass on 11/16/2018 in burbank, ca. I needed a very specific brand of lollipop with a chocolatey center for a short film i'm working on. None of my library crunch fx sounded right, so i chomped into one myself. Just call me mr. Owl. Recorded on an iphone, about an inch from my face. Just a single crunch edited to have a little extra tail. The effect came out as a satisfying crunch with decent low-mid range. Could be pitched down a bit to act as bones, or maybe a small to medium sized tree branch. I may record more of these after i visit the dentist next.

A nearby moo. Taken from a field recording (quite literally) i made of the cows mooing in the field next to our house in pembrokeshire, wales. Recorded tuesday 14 april 2020 (while in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic) on a zoom q2n. Note, incidentally, that "zoom" spelt backwards is "mooz". Spooky, eh?. I hope that someone out there finds these moos to be just the thing they need. I recorded them for my own music project about ufos, but figured someone else might need a moo or two too! if you use these, please let us know in the comments. Field recordings extracted from videos i took while travelling on a vaporetto (small public transport canal boat) along the grand canal. You can hear the water, the engine revving as the boat criss-crosses the canal from one stop to the next and the(mostly english)chatter of other passengers on the boat. On "venice2" horns are blown by other vessels and someone says at the end "i'm getting off the boat". I have joined 2 tracks on this one and there is a small gap, but with the right equipment that can be edited out. All in all very evocative of the busy atmosphere in venice, even in march (2012).

This sound of alarm clock was entirely made with audacity. First, i generated a sinusoïdal key at 575 hz with an amplitude of 0. 11 during 3 seconds. Then i deselect my track and i generated an other sinusoïdal key at 1500 hz with an amplitude of 0. 33 during 3 seconds too. I deselected the track and i generated a final sinusoïdal key at 2800 hz with an amplitude of 0. 56 during 3 seconds. Next i selected my 3 tracks and i clicked on track - mix and render to a new track. I added a tremolo effect with a reverse serrated and a degree of 0, a level of 100 and a frequence at 25,0 hz. The wave must looks like stuck triangles.

The beautiful sounds of office life. This is audible interference from a cheap ballast in a florescent light fixture--or several in close proximity. (it's probably violating fcc regulations with rf output too. ) this was recorded with an iphone builtin mic, then processed to isolate the sound. It's a beeping / humming at around 3,800 hz. Each beep lasts about 1 second, followed by a half-second of silence before the next beep. Toward the end of this recording, it shifts slightly upward in pitch, to around 4,000 hz. Some typing on a keyboard can be heard in the foreground. (it's an office, after all. ).

This recording was done early one morning in may 2012 in the middle of scotland. You can hear the usual sounds of the countryside at this time of year and day. The two front microphones were facing the river tay, the two back ones drummond hill. This is the sound those front ones captured. All of them microphones were audio technica at-3031 ones, connected to the rme quadmic preamp into an edirol r-44 recorder. To get a quadraphonic or surround sound you have to download both tracks (they are next to eachother on the list) and alter them the way you want. If you compare them, then it shows what a difference it makes where you point those microphones.

My first upload to freesound is a thunderstorm recorded in gateshead, uk, next to our open bathroom window. Some lovely thunderclaps and rain. Recorded on a zoom h5. There are also some household sounds swimming around in the background, doors closing, dishes clinking etc; i think you can hear the radio or something very faintly towards the end -- but there's plenty of clean usable thunder and rain in there. Incidentally i often use this type of thing in my long-form instrumental music, produced under the name conelrad. This is a recording of an escalator at the main bus station in helsinki, finland. I heard it making this sound one day. It was quite loud in the space and i heard if from far away. It sounded like a street performer playing an odd instrument. I imagined that a drummer would have had fun jamming along with this. I missed the opportunity to record it that week, but luckily the thing wasn't fixed the next week when i was again at the same place. This was recorded with iphone xr, so it's not super quality (i actually took a video really close to the escalator, hoping the video recording gives the best sound), but maybe somebody finds some use for this (the sound can likely be well isolated). This is as unprocessed as it can be, straight from the original video.

From my listening, it seems like they were not doing it in bed the entire time. They must have used other furniture and played around in different positions. From 3:30 or even before that is when they start. Passed 5:00 is when the woman starts to moan loud. 14:55 is when they finish. 16:07 guy says i'm tired. Note that the original audio had more bed and furniture creak noises, almost 30 mins long, and some of their chats cut out. Also note that some of the noises left in on the good parts may not be sex noises. This was edit and shorten with audacity.

This ambience was recorded on zoom h6 with msh-6 mid-side stereo mic capsule. Recording was edited and decoded. Mic was positioned right in a frame of an open window so that it won't get flood from a heavy rain and pick up much room reflections. My flat where i recorded from was on 4th floor. There was a busy street 50m far from the apartment building itself, a bit further there was a park. Rain at that night was heavy. Also you can hear several heavy thunder hits of various distance throughout the whole recording. Hope this recording will help to enhance the sound of your next project. This wav file is a take-away from a midi track my current project. The vst instrument is 4front e-piano and it's free! - the root key is g major, starting off in the piano roll at g3. The bottom drops to g2 and uses heavy steps, separated by a key to reach g2. Going back up to g3, the notes are shortened and no keys are skipped. Hence the fairytale stares ascents. The ceiling above g3 is g5. So 1 octave down, 2 up. The tight stairstep is maintained above g3. There is just downward notes to keep it sounding like a saw form. The entire sound should be in-key and loopable. Each of the 16 bars is unique. I didn't just copy and paste the same notes several times. - my next step is to apply a different midi sound. Here is another night of that couple next door. They were active for around 25 minutes. Sounds like they had a really good night. The recorded audio of this was over two hours long and edit down to this length. Many of their conversations before they you know and after they finished were excluded out. At 2:32, sounds like the woman said "wanna go ahead,. . . "starting around at 3:45 was when they probably began to have their fun in bed, but there were still bits of soft chit chat between the couple. At 13:25 is when there are bits of moans coming from the woman. At 14:50 is when the rising action really begins. At 25:00 was when their fun was coming to an end, and you should be able to hear some of the noises from the guy. For those who just want the good parts of the audio: 13:25-25:56.

On an even night of april 2018, in a huge temple in bangkok -none of the famous ones-, i went to crash funerals -i truly recommend do this; people is very nice and the spectacle it's just amazing, you have singing, acrobatics, free food. . . This recording came from a taoist funeral -that night they have also some others in that temple -i need to find out which one, but i think it's next to sam sen subway station-, many, buddhist funerals. Just now, i realized the singing it's in mandarin. Over the funeral chatting, you heard the singer voice and the instrument, timbals, erhu. A very oriental ambiance. Not edited. Recorded with my old, and now quite cranky, zoom ii recorder.

The sound of going on the bus, getting off and walking to entrance of a university. 0:01 - 0:15 - opening of bus doors and the beeping sound of the bus card. During the bus ride you will be able to hear the soundscape of inside the bus, the bus itself when stopping you could hear the sound of its brakes, you can also hear sound of vehicles coming from outside, there is also a low rumble sound in the bus and voices of people. 0:40 - the sound of the bus announcer telling the next destination in portuguese, cantonese and putonghua. 1:32 - bus door opens and people walking out and the sounds now is different in outside. On the way to university, you could hear vehicles, people talking, key chains, footsteps and the sound of the gates opening and closing. You will also hear at the someone pressing the button for the elevator. Key sounds: key chain, vehicles, people.

A complete trip on métro (subway) line 9 of the paris subway system, from the alma-marceau station to the havre-caumartin station. Starts with descent into the métro station and ends climbing up the steps back out at the destination. One train is allowed to pass, at about the 1-minute mark, as we wait on the platform, and an announcement giving the times for the next trains can be heard. The ride on the following train begins at around the 2-minute mark. There are two loud sounds between about 9:10 and 9:20 and some loud low-frequency wind noise at around 10:40 (as we leave the métro station and return outside), so beware. Recording with zoom h4n, originally 96 khz/24 bits, uploaded as mp3 320 kbps because the wav was so big (almost 500 mb).

This was created with reaktor 6, nested inside vcvrack (via the "host" module) run through various effects in vcv rack. Ultimately this was rendered out at 192khz (vcv allows for very high super sampling). Many frequencies that are above the range of hearing exist in this file due to rendering it at such a high sample rate. I recommend that, in your daw of choice: pitch this down a couple octaves while running this through a frequency analyzer. Watch how many notes and tones emerge into the range of hearing. You might need a high shelf eq on this as well as a slight high pass filter. Several use cases for this sound: in the background of a sci-fi video game. On your next ambient dark drone top 40 hit single. Run through effects like granulators, pitch shifters and spectral distortions to make a crazy sound design sculpture.

Recorded on a small olympus device, set next to an open sleeve of stale saltines. You can hear her in the plastic packaging grabbing mouthfuls and chewing the crackers all up. She dips into the sleeve of crackers 3 or 4 times in this recording and smacks her chops after eating it all. Sorry about her collar chiming as dog's tags tend to, i just had to record that big mouthed crunch. I've removed the loud plastic rustling sounds, to focus more on the crunching sounds as she munches on snack crackers. Great for dog food or puppy chow commercials or for a film of a beast eating at charred crispy remains. I let the patch sound thru a pair of cheap computer speakers that i use as monitors. In an adjacent room, close to an open window, i put my phone and record. This is the unedited outcome. The recording was made 09:00 (16-05-11). Unfortunately nothing happened outside the window. Even the birds was quiet. I think there is a hint of feedback in the sound? first i planned to record with an old tape recorder, but i couldn’t find it. . . I think this recording should be listened to with low volume. May by it was a mistake to amplify the sound in audacity? but i think there is a nice room ambiance to the recording. Ideas for next time. Use guitar amp. Find old tape recorder. Don’t put recording device to close to window.

Stereo ambience of people passing by at the kulturforum in berlin. This is a large open concrete space next to the berlin philharmonic hall. It's a warm summer evening and the berlin philharmonics have just finished an open air concert. The recording starts about 15 minutes after the end of the concert while everyone is leaving the place, maybe about 1000-1500 people. The crowd is generally in a happy and talkative mood. There are lots of international folks and tourists, so you'll not only hear german, but also english and lots of other languages. After six minutes or so there is also a police siren in the background. Recorded with a zoom h6 (xy mics). In the same pack there is also a second recording starting directly at the end of the concert with people applauding. It is can be found here.

Approaching army? rising nightmare?. Wrote/recorded an eerie nightmare approaching in the distance sound. The sound starts soft and builds to a crescendo. Ezdrummer2 was used w/ a low pass eq filter. The ride is smoother and the cars are generally much quieter. The cars are generally empty but, this was at the end of a 3 day weekend, so the car was actually quite active (i'll try to get a quiet one soon). You can hear the ticket attendant, the conductor's announcements, station arrivals and departures, passengers getting on and off the train and settling in and having conversations. At some point you can hear the guy behind me eating senbei (a crunchy japanese rice cracker) - that's a little annoying, but there might be some usable bits in there if you're good at editing backgrounds.
